The History of Exodus Software

Exodus Software was formed to 'commericalise' the technologies developed by its sister company; Tropical Medical Bureau, Irelands leading network of Travel Medicine Clinics.

The Tropical Medical Bureau realised during the mid-nineties that its expanding travel clinics needed to move away from a paper based patient record system. It opened its second branch in 1992 in Dublin's City Centre and patients were moving between this and its original South County Dublin clinic in Dun Laoghaire. Patient numbers were increasing rapidly!

In 1997 it began developing a patient management system which was to eventually become Global Explorer. Today thanks in part to Global Explorer the Tropical Medical Bureau has over 20 Travel Clinics operating throughout Ireland. All of them using Global Explorer to run their travel clinics.
